End User License Agreement

Last updated: 12 June 2026. This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding agreement between you (the "Licensee") and Simone B., operator of Ecstacy Anticheat (the "Licensor", "we"), governing your installation and use of the Ecstacy Anticheat software, plugins, models and updates (collectively, the "Software"). By downloading, installing or running the Software you accept this EULA. It complements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where this EULA conflicts with the Terms on the subject of the software licence, this EULA prevails.

In short

You get a licence to run the Software on the number of server instances your plan includes, on servers you own or lawfully administer. The licence lasts as long as the plan is paid and you keep to this agreement.
It is licensed, not sold. The code, the models and the datasets stay ours; you acquire no ownership in them.
You may not reverse engineer, deobfuscate, redistribute, resell or leak the Software or your credentials, tamper with the licensing and update mechanisms, or use it to build a competing product.
It is a hybrid product: part runs on your server, the detection models run on ours. We may update or change the server-side half, with reasonable notice where that is practicable.
Running it processes customer and player data. You are the controller of your players' data. The Privacy Policy and the DPA set out what that means for each side.
The Software comes without a promise of catching every cheat or of never producing a false positive. No anticheat can honestly offer that, and section 7 states it rather than hiding it.
Liability is capped at what you paid in the previous twelve months, and excludes indirect losses. Anything the law does not allow to be limited is not limited.
Governed by Italian law. Consumers keep the protections and the right to sue locally that their own country gives them.

This summary is provided for readability only. It is not part of the agreement and has no legal effect. The numbered sections below are the terms that apply, and where the two differ, the sections govern.

1. Licence Grant

Subject to your active, paid plan and continued compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the Software on the number of server instances included in your plan, solely to operate anti-cheat protection on servers you own or lawfully administer. No rights are granted other than those expressly stated here.

2. Restrictions

You agree NOT to, and not to permit any third party to:

reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, models or detection logic of the Software, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, publish or leak the Software files or your licence key/credentials;
circumvent, disable or tamper with the licensing, authentication, integrity or update mechanisms;
use the Software to build, train or improve a competing product, or to extract its models or datasets;
use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the Terms or applicable law.

3. Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. All right, title and interest in and to the Software. Including its source, machine-learning models, weights, datasets, design and trademarks. Remain the exclusive property of the Licensor and its licensors. You acquire no ownership in the Software by this EULA.

4. Updates & Server-Side Components

The Software is delivered as a hybrid client/cloud service: parts run on your server and parts (including the detection models) run on our infrastructure. We may provide updates, and may modify, suspend or discontinue server-side components, models or features, with reasonable notice where practicable. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of that version.

5. Data

Operation of the Software involves processing of customer and in-game player data as described in our Privacy Policy and, for player data, under the Data Processing Agreement. By installing the Software you acknowledge those terms and your own responsibilities as the controller of your players' data.

6. Term & Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any term, and we may suspend or revoke your licence and access to the update/cloud service upon breach, chargeback, fraud or suspected abuse. On termination you must cease all use of and delete the Software. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. While our models are trained for high accuracy, we do not warrant that the Software will detect all cheats, be free of false positives, or operate uninterrupted or error-free. Mandatory consumer warranties that cannot be excluded under your local law are unaffected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, data, goodwill, server bans or downtime arising from use or misuse of the Software. The Licensor's total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by Italian law. For business licensees, the courts of Italy have exclusive jurisdiction; consumers retain the mandatory protections and forum rights of their country of residence.
